Most manufacturers highly recommend that vehicles with a windscreen-mounted ADAS camera, Adaptive Cruise Control radar and Blind Spot Monitoring radar require a recalibration for it to resume its safety functions (for instance, after the windscreen is replaced, or panel work requiring removal and refitting of the modules is carried out, and/or modifications are carried out on the vehicle affecting a change in height) without which it may cause accidents due to inaccuracy of sensor readings.
